Despite initial reactions to the announcement of the remake going into production, the reactions to the subsequent trailers, stills, and clips from comic con seem to have become overwhelmingly positive.

/Film was in attendance for the comic con panel and had this to say-

I was extremely impressed with the footage they screened in Hall H. And if the scenes screened are any indication, this film might have award potential.

An enormous amount of controversy surrounded the original foreign film after it was declared ineligible for Oscar consideration. If the remake proves to be more impressive somehow, it might put the story back on track for consideration at this year’s Academy Awards.

Let Me In opens on Oct 1, 2010.

  • Hi i love vampire films and let me in is a personal favourite, although i preferred let the right one in. the film is so heartfelt, refreshing and original. although very dark both in context and in the mise-en-scene of the piece the hope & friendship between the two characters makes the film very heartwarming in a sense that no other vampire films have managed as of yet,

would you be interested in featuring news and info on a new and upcoming vampire film & competitions

    thanks
