The Blu-Ray / DVD sequel to 30 Days of Night is set for release on Oct 5th. The production quality actually looks higher than the average DTV release, which is promising. Plus, co-written by Steve Niles = bonus.
They even went as far as to insert a reshoot of a scene from the first film, replacing Melissa George with Kiele Sanchez, who was great in The Perfect Getaway, as Stella.
Mia Kirshner (The Crow: City of Angels, The Vampire Diaries) as the lead villain isn’t too bad either.
